ACTIVITY IN LEGISLATIVE FIELD

 

Since 2001 Lapo Association, with its “TR/EAAT Section”, has been an active part in legislation through notations, memories, proposed amendments, participation in Roundtables, Senate Audit concerning the various draft laws submitted overtime to the House and the Senate about Hippotherapy, Therapeutic Riding, Pet Therapy.

 

• 20/3/2002: Notation to the 30/10/2001 No. 710 Bill (Senators Magnalbò, Bonatesta).

• 14/12/2003: Memory on the 15/7/2003 Proposed Unified Text “Disciplines of Animal-Assisted Activities and Therapies” under consideration of the XIIth Commission (Social Affairs).

• 7/7/2004 Roma: speech of Prof. Pasquinelli on behalf of Lapo Association at the Roundtable “Rules on the Therapeutic Riding: an opportunity for promotion, need for clarity” organised by “Insieme uomini e cavalli” Association for the discussion of the TR Associations/Operators with Parliamentarians and representatives of Institutional Bodies concerning the bills about TR and Pet Therapy.

• 8/7/2004 Roma: Audit (Prof. Pasquinelli, Dr. Silvi Barducci) at the Office of the Presidency of the Hygiene and Healthcare Commission of the Senate of the Republic, chaired by Senator Antonio Tomassini, President of the said Commission, concerning the related issued the No.710 and 1138 bills.

• 2004: together FISE TR Department, proposed amendments to the No.710 Bill of the Legislature XIV (Senators Magnalbò, Bonatesta).

• 2004: together FISE TR Department, proposed amendments to the No. 1753 Bill of the Legislature XIV (Deputy Ruzzante).

• 31/7/2008 Rome: Prof. Pasquinelli as “Lapo TR/EAAT Section” President and representative of Child Neuropsychiatric Chair of the University of Florence, has been convened at the Office of the Presidency of the Hygiene and Healthcare Commission of the Senate of the Republic, chaired by Senator Antonio Tomassini, President of the said Commission, for the audit on the No. 58, 101 and 482, 2008 bills of the Legislature XIV concerning Hippotherapy.

 

• 18/9/2009 Assisi: speech of Prof. Pasquinelli on behalf of Lapo Association and Child Neuropsychiatric Chair of the University of Florence, at the Roundtable “The Horse, a social response. The TR Bill” with the participation of Senator Prof. Tomassini and Congressman, Undersecretary of State for Labour, Health and Social Policy Dr. Martini.

 

• 24/9/2015 Rome: speeches of Prof. Pasquinelli on behalf of Lapo Association and Neuroscience Department of the University of Florence, of Directors and Operators of Lapo Association TR Centres at the Workshop “ Guidelines on Animal-Assisted Intervention – AAI – Reflections and shared proposals”. It concerns the Guidelines recently approved (25/3/2015) by the State- Regions Conference. The Workshop was organised by the Health Ministry and Experimental Zooprophylacitic Institute of Venezie (IZSVe), IAA National Reference Centre (CRN).

• Since April 2016, Rome: on behalf of Lapo Association and University of Florence, Prof. Pasquinelli attends the permanent Working Table of doctors who have AAI experience. The Table is organised by the Health Ministry and AAI CRN for discussions and integration proposals on the AAI Guidelines (25/3/2015).

• Since January 2017, Rome: on behalf of Lapo Association, Prof. Pasquinelli and Dr. Mazzotta attend the permanent Working Table of doctors with TR experiences , organised by the Health Ministry and AAI CRN for discussions and integration proposals on TR Guidelines (25/3/2015).
